Buckled wheels are caused by pothole impacts, kerb strikes at speed, or driving over road debris. Even a minor buckle can cause noticeable vibration at motorway speeds and lead to uneven tyre wear over time.
We use a precision hydraulic press to straighten buckled alloys back to within manufacturer specification. Unlike cheaper methods that use heat, our cold-pressing process avoids introducing new stress points into the alloy.
After straightening, your wheel is balanced and inspected to confirm it runs true. We can also identify and repair any secondary damage - cracks or surface damage - at the same visit.
